We have been retained by our client, in their search for a QA Analyst, this is a full time permanent opportunity! Located in Troy, NY. Salary range is $50,000-60,000K, negotiable based on experience

Ideal candidate will be a self starter with a high sense of urgency. This position is for a great company with opportunity for growth and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the entire software development life cycle from requirements to
• deployment & production support in a very fast paced, agile environment
• Assist in implementation of QA standards and continual improvement activities
• Translate functional and technical requirements into test scenarios and test cases
• Create and execute test plans and test scripts with a focus on automation and manual
• Working with projects in .net, Flash and Java.
• Drive all technical testing efforts including integration and performance testing
• Ensure that all functional requirements are met

Required Experience/Education:
• 2+ years of experience of quality assurance and software testing
• Experience working as part of an agile development team
• Good understanding of software test planning
• Ability to define scenarios, test plans and test cases
• Ability to script tests for automation
• Good understanding of Windows development, and relational databases
• Software development experience is a big plus
• Ideal candidate will have strong experience as a QA analyst in a web application environment
• BA in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred, others will be considered
