The Wayne County, Illinois, Emergency Telephone System Board
is seeking candidates for the position of E-911 System Administrator. A minimum of 5 yrs leadership or management experience is preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Applicants must have a background in or high understanding of technical areas of E911 systems, as well as extensive knowledge of public safety and emergency dispatch
communications, including computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems,
mobile data systems, geographic information system (GIS) mapping, and master street address guides (MSAG). Applicants must also have strong written and verbal communication skills; leadership and organizational skills; computer and standard office machine proficiency; superior analytical ability; and the ability to work cooperatively with other agencies, the general public, vendors, and contractors. The position of E-911 System Administrator is a contractual, at-will position, with a salary range of $35,000 - $40,000, as well as insurance and benefits.
