The J2EE Architect will need to design and to provide hands on
Implementation for architecture and application components that are efficient, scalable, maintainable, and accurately meet the needs of the business lead design and code reviews and provide valuable feedback on design, performance, coding, and maintenance issues.

· Mentor developers of all levels on different development aspects.

· Proactiveness in anticipating and mitigating potential development issues

Required Skills:

10+ years of Object-Oriented programming experience in Java or equivalent
Prior experience in architecting / designing enterprise scale web applications, business portal
Prefer financial service industry experience
Extensive experience with SOA implementation, preferably with Axis
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and methodologies
Strong knowledge of web technologies including Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, etc.
Strong knowledge in performance tuning and optimization
Extensive experience in applying open source technologies such as Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Dojo, Prototype, etc
Good knowledge of Oracle 10g or equivalent SQL database. Familiar with dynamic languages such as Python, Ruby and Perl
Good knowledge with UML and to apply it to projects
Experience with different styles of development process
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing team environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong business and technical writing, and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information System
Proven track record in large scale enterprise system developments
Very strong object oriented analysis and design skills
Expert in both client side and server side technology stacks in a J2EE setting.
Experience in sourcing and applying various open source technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate
Excel in client side technology, such as JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, Dojo, Prototype, Scriptaculous, etc
Able to understand business problems, and be creative with strong problem solving abilities.
Able to quickly pickup new technologies, provide critical analysis and apply to the ongoing projects if needed
Willingness to take project ownership, and do whatever it takes to make them successful.
Fast learner as well as a great team player.
