L-3 Communications/D.P. Associates Inc. in Havelock, NC is seeking military maintenance Subject Matter Experts with five years experience in airframes, avionics, crew chief or safety equipment maintenance on military transport/fixed-wing aircraft able to interpret and convert information from maintenance manuals into Computer Based Training courseware. (USMC MOS 6276, 6286, 6316, 6336)

Duties
Ability to develop computer/Web-based aviation training courseware for operational or maintenance classroom and self-paced instruction. - Skilled at validating the accuracy of the applicable C-130J / KC-130J systems, subsystems, or equipment. - Must be able to communicate clearly, verbally, and in writing and be computer literate. Courseware development highly dependent on ability to think visually. - Individuals will interface with military aviators, weapon systems operators and aircraft maintenance mechanics and technicians. - Works with the design team to ensure the content is accurate, meets military standards, and contractual requirements. Reviews courseware and technical publications to identify and correct inaccurate data resulting from publication and aircraft changes.

Special Skills
Experience with KC-130J model preferred.

Education
High school diploma and 6 years experience.
