We have an immediate an immediate opening for an L&D RN.
Description:
The RN is responsible for the assessment of patients and providing appropriate interventions. Candidates are responsible for directing and providing care of patients from admission to discharge planning. The RN also facilitates family support and education. The RN assesses labor patients, demonstrates proficiency with vaginal exams, interpretation of fetal monitor strips. The RN also assists the Physician with procedures to ensure safe delivery of the newborn. The RN incorporates principles of maternal child nursing, including bonding, infant care, breast feeding, post-partum care, growth and development and family dynamics. The RN must be able to operate all OB/GYN and nursery equipment.

Requirements:
PA State License
BLS/CPR and NRP Certifications

Job Details:
Immediate start date
8-week assignment
Night shift, 7pm to 7:30am; some days when needed
Weekend requirements are every other weekend
On-Call requirements are as needed
