The National Bank is currently looking for a Technical Advisor generalist for its Human Resources Services Center located in Montreal. The mission of this sector of activity is to offer Bank employees and Managers all the Human resources information and transaction assistance they need in a centralized customer service station.



*** In line with the mission of the sector, the selected candidate will be offering an advisory service by telephone to the Bank managers.




Nature of contribution

Reporting to the Section Manager, you will optimize the quality of human resources interventions and services offered by acting as a resource person and technical advisor in your field of expertise.


Main responsibilities

As a Technical Advisor, you will carry out and coordinate parts of studies, research projects and analyses, contributing to the development of human resources policies, practices and programs. You will provide information useful for decision-making and formulate recommendations to improve human resources management activities. You will take full responsibility for the advisory function and offer advanced technical support to stakeholders regarding the interpretation and application of policies, procedures and programs relating to human resources management activities.



In addition, you will:


Direct or participate in various surveys and collect relevant information for the Bank's human resources databases.
Analyze and interpret the data collected and compare them with that of the market.
Assist in the planning and development of the labour pool.
Help implement training or information activities designed for employees and managers.
Establish collaborative working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders in order to better achieve the department's objectives.




Qualifications




Completed Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations or in a related field and one year of relevant experience
Experience in an advisory role and in support next to managers
Experience and interest in customer service
Experience in the recruitment field
Experience in the compensation, payroll and employee benefits field, an asset
Experience in the application of the HR laws including the Labour Code, an asset
Experience in a call center, an asset
Ability to work on several files simultaneously
Bilingualism both spoken and written (English and French)
