We are presently searching for qualified candidates for a P/A Data Warehouse - BI position for a large financial institution in Birmingham, AL.

Description:

The Sr. BI Programmer Analyst is the critical link between our business users and the BI Development team and must have strong requirements gathering, project scoping and analytical leadership skills. The position is responsible for guiding and coordinating all aspects of BI project analysis, including requirements gathering, technical specification, detailed data mapping, unit testing and end user acceptance testing. In addition the analyst is also responsible for developing delivery solutions using Hyperion and Bitam toolsets.

Requirements:

Oracle (and/or other large databases) PL/SQL, SLQ. Data Warehouse Experience with strong analytical and communication/presentation skills. Ability to work as part of a team, including working with remote participants. UNIX or Linux experience required. Preferred qualifications include two + years hands on working with Hyperion or similar OLAP tool strongly preferred. Crystal Reports, SAS, TOAD or similar. Experience working in a formal data warehouse environment (as reflected in the use of a formal ETL product like Informatica, OWB or DTS). This experience should include the analysis required to bring new sources into the DWH in addition to ad hoc and/or production support activities. Project Management Skills.
