Additionally, the individual will participate in teams across the organization to develop work processes, standards, and procedures for safety and industrial hygiene issues. Required Skills:

College level mathematics or statistics for business Ability to communicate with people and recommend changes in their work practices to insure a safe work environment. Must be able to make quick decisions regarding the protection of life and property during emergency response situations. Experience Required:
5+ years experience in a chemical plant or oil refining setting in occupational safety position with some experience doing industrial hygiene and emergency response. ASP, CSP, or CIH certification highly desirable; if not certified must be certifiable. Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and/or Fire Protection Engineering is required.
