Vacuum Reservoir Engineer/ Flood Manager - (US-TX-Midland - 79712) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Mature and utilize advanced flood management tools and techniques to maximize the profitability of the Vacuum Floods. Ensure completeness and quality of data feeding the surveillance tools. Maintain close communication with Field Management Team, Production Engineers and Earth Scientists to understand issues, opportunities and constraints. Identify opportunities to maximize the profitability of the floods such as injection rate changes, Water Alternating Gas timing, profile modifications, workovers and stimulations, infill drilling opportunities, etc. Lead reservoir engineering efforts associated with expanding the CO2 flood area both laterally and vertically. Manage CO2 supply and transportation contracts. Serve as Chevrons representative in dealings with partners. Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering.A minimum of 5 years experience.Knowledge and experience in managing waterfloods and CO2 floods for maximum profitability. Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying opportunities and driving actions to capture them.
